I am sitting here at work, pretty much bored to tears. Waiting for people to come in and give me more to do. I've already checked all my credit cards, bank accounts, e-mails. Sigh. Maybe next I'll check the news?
Just when I feel like I am settling into a routine, something happens and it is all changed. This week it's my brother Tim visiting with four of his rowdy friends. They are doing the DC thing this week. We took them rock climbing, hiking in Great Falls, and they have been visiting monuments/museums while we are working. They appear to be having a great time, of which I am quite glad.
However, it is pretty hilarious to look inside of our dinky little house. We have two boys on mattresses in the spare bedroom, two more sleeping on air mattresses on the living room floor, and another sprawled across our large living room couch. Lucky for Nate and I, we still have our oasis, our bedroom. Ahhhhh, it is so nice to close the door at night and escape into the cool quietness of our room. We click on our fan, and lay on the sweet, sweet Tempur Pedic mattress. I feel it form to my body..... weightless....
Then I feel Nate's arm curve around me, he gives me a hug, kiss and says good night. Sleep. Oh how I love to sleep. I love waking in the morning with my neck feeling loose (a minor miracle) and my mind feeling clear. A cup of green tea later I am ready to face the day.
I guess this post has served to say just about nothing, so I'll cut it short. I hope you all are having wonderful days at work/home : )
