Back to the Schwarzwald

I started working last week. There really wasn't too much for me to do, so I got to do a lot of fun reading... you know, things like IRS Publication 514 :) This week tax returns have started to come in, so I've begun my reviews. It really is quite exciting for me. I've always been a preparer, with a bit of review work. But my job this year is strictly review. I am enjoying being able to "teach" people, help them out, etc. I've always loved teaching, and now it's fun to be able to do it as my job.

Enough geeking out I guess.

We took a trip with our friends Kyle and Jess to the Schwarzwald this weekend. We bought the B-W train ticket (only 27 euros for 5 or fewer people!) and began our journey at 8:18am. Three hours and two train transfers later we were back at the Titisee. You might remember the Titisee from my description of our summer travels. We went there with an older couple that we met randomly while biking. This time it was cold, but we got to hike and just enjoy each other's company. Always a good time. I have pictures posted over in the Gallery if you're interested!

Just in case any of you men forgot, Valentine's Day is coming up this week! Nate has been lamenting the fact that the flower shop across the street is a constant reminder of a holiday that he hates. I'm trying to think of something to get him. Any ideas?!!

Nate

I'm not real big on Valentines day either, but did manage to get my wife flowers this year - kind of backed into it - since the birthday flowers I bought her (when I was in Germany) all died quickly, the flower shop gave me valentines flowers for FREE!! What a Plan!
