Cold

I think that my babe has her first cold. She is sniffling and sneezing all day long. With every sneeze my heart breaks just a little. I can't help but wonder if I did something wrong. Nate thinks that he gave his cold to her, but still... I wonder...

I guess it is just the time of year for sickness. I need to make appointments today for 1) a retina check-up, 2) dentist, 3) chiropractor/physical therapist, and 4) general doctor for my plugged up ear. Have I mentioned that I jammed a cu-tip down my ear, effectively creating a blockage that has me nearly deaf in my right ear? I have resisted the doctor for over a week, hoping that many yawns and jaw contortions would clear it up.

Last night Kyle and Jess came over and we tried to home remedy the ear. Jess put some rubbing alcohol in it, only to have Kyle say that rubbing alcohol clears up WATER in the ear, not wax. Sooooo... after waiting a few minutes for that to dry out we poured some hydrogen peroxide down the hatch. It bubbled, I shuddered, and about thirty seconds later it broke through the blockage. I thought, VICTORY, and sat up, only to find that my hearing was worse than ever.

Sigh!!!!!!!! I hate doctors, but I think I need to find one. Any other home remedies out there, my loyal readers, that can keep me from having to find a doctor?!
