USDA

I've decided that I am no fan of the USDA. You see, they make food in the U.S. so stinking clean that Americans are not used to any good, old-fashioned mold!!!

Mexicans grow up drinking water full of funky bacteria, so they don't get sick from it. So, you see, if only we could be eating/drinking funky stuff, we wouldn't get sick when we travel abroad and eat things that our bodies aren't used to. At least that's my theory. And I don't want to hear anything from you nurses about how many lives are saved by our bacteria free lifestyle... blah, blah, blah!!!!!!!!!

I say all of this because Nate, Sheila, and I got food poisoning while traveling in Budapest. Of our three days in Budapest, I spent two of them in the hotel sick as a dog. Or should I say sick as a horse? (We ate horse for the first time... although in my defense Nate didn't tell me that it was horse until it had already slid down my throat.)
