Happy Easter!

It's Easter?! No way!

It took us a few tries, but we finally figured out how to use the little egg coloring sticks we purchased. No pictures of the finished product, but I wouldn't say that we should quit our day jobs and become egg decorators.

We had a really great Easter. Early morning wake-up followed by a relaxing morning. Then we headed over to a coworker of Nate's, and his family's, place for Easter lunch. Pork loin, rice, multiple kinds of veggie tortes, salad, etc, etc... delicious! The desserts were fabulous too! Oh, and it was fun to meet all of their friends... right, the food wasn't all that I enjoyed!

We were about ten minutes late to the Easter service, so we got the privilege of sitting in the back on chairs. It worked out all right as Elena got hungry (easier feeding her back there than in the pews). After the packed service we headed up to the parish centre for a "left-overs" potluck that ended up being anything but leftovers. It was more like a feast, but I was so stuffed from lunch that I could hardly enjoy a bite. What I did eat was quite tasty. We stayed there chatting until Elena started to get grumpy, and finally got home around eight pm.

Now if only we could have been with family, the day would have been perfect. But as it was, it was a lovely Easter in Stuttgart.

Such cute pics. I love the one of you holding Elena while doing an egg. The first pic was cute too and the saying went real well with it. I love the updates. Love, Grandma B./Mom
