Holiday

Here I am, sitting at the Ramquist 'breakfast nook', watching snow fall softly on the deck. Boy, do I ever feel rich!

The past week and a half (or so) has been wonderful. Mom and I flew from Frankfurt to Peoria on Saturday, the 12th, and basically just relaxed for the following week. We did make one trip into Peoria to go shopping, but the rest of the time was just a blur of Christmas cookie making, sitting around, celebrating my birthday, and going to Walmart... yeah... Walmart!

After taking one-year pictures of Elena, she and I drove from Tre-town to Madison on Friday. So far it's been a fantastic time. We skiied two days straight (even got a chance to ski with Sheila, which was super fun), and are working on two days straight of sitting around the house eating. Can't complain!

Today we're probably going to make Christmas cookies and then take them to neighbors and carol. Ramquist Family caroling? Never thought I'd say those three words in the same sentence!

Life is good, and if only snow could be turned into Euros, Nate could quit his job and start a life of permanent vacation.

Gotta have something to ask Santa for, right?!

Sounds like fun, making cookies and going caroling in the snow. Now that should get you in the Christmas spirit! Love, Mom
