Photo Shoot

I intended to do a photo shoot of Elena and Annika this week, seeing that Annika turned three months (June 10th) and Elena turned two and a half years (June 11th). However, I never seemed to get around to it. I'm tired. I think that will be my explanation for everything dumb I do for at least another six months.

My dear brother, Greg, remembered that I wanted to get pictures. So he took pity on me and did a little photo shoot with Elena a few hours ago. I am so happy that he did, as I probably wouldn't have gotten around to it until, oh who knows, maybe her third birthday.

In happy news, Annika is officially giggling. My Mom got her to giggle on June 2nd by tickling her up around her neck. But I, yes, that's me, Mommy extraordinaire, got her to giggle all on her own. I don't think I was doing anything special, except for maybe satisfying her hunger, but she looked up at me and made two little giggles. Melted my heart again. Just what I needed to keep pushing through the great wall of Zombie that I seem to be walking along. Someday I will get more than four hours of sleep at a time.... some day I will!
