Oma and Opa took the girls up to Madison, and I joined Nate on a business trip in Chicago. We got to stay at the Renaissance. All I can say is that I'm glad Bosch was footing the bill. The place was nice!
The only sad part about this trip was that Nate was occupied from the wee early morning until late at night. I saw little of him, but made up for it by sitting for hours in restaurants, reading on my Kindle, shopping, and sleeping in! What a refreshing time it was.
After that week was over Oma and Opa came down to spend a week with us! Nate and Opa worked on tearing down the old and building up our brand new deck. The girls and Oma and I didn't do much of anything.
Playing, going to Starbucks, and enjoying when cousins Hannah and Ariella came down to join in the fun! Amanda came down to go garage saleing with me, and we also enjoyed celebrating Hannah's 3rd birthday. Even cousins Max, Nora, and Tirzah got to join in the fun.
And what visit of Oma and Opa's would be complete without a night of Euchre? What a delightful time we had together. I am so blessed to have such wonderful inlaws. THANK YOU Oma and Opa for taking the time to bond with your grandchildren, and with us!
