Nate took this picture of our house today. I wanted to post this picture as a sort of "before" picture. We went to Menards today and bought siding for the house (grey in color. bye-bye blue house!). Nate is planning to side it himself the week of October 15th. All willing helpers, please contact him!
Just singing hymns with the accordion and guitar. Another midwest Sunday night. I love it!
Elena started preschool about a week and a half ago. She wasn't afraid. She just turned around, waved bye, and headed out to play. And I didn't even cry! It's only for 2.5 hours, twice a week, so I guess it doesn't really feel like school. I am hoping to start going to Gold's gym during preschool, so that as Elena's knowledge grows, my waistline shrinks. Maybe.
It didn't rain much this summer. I think Annika still isn't sure what rain actually is. So when it rained one cool, September evening, the girls and I threw on our raincoats and went outside to play.
They loved it! Free entertainment is the best.
And here is Annika, proving yet again that redheads do have fiery tempers. She happens to be throwing a tantrum in this picture, but for our purposes, I'd like to say that she's praying... that's right. I am training my child up right, and when she grows old, let's hope that stubbornness departs!
