Well, I hope all of you out there have a super-duper Thanksgiving.
I am spending my first Thanksgiving EVER away from my family. That's 22 years of Thanksgivings in a row. I've already done my crying, so I'm hoping that the day will be tearless.
I love Thanksgiving. It's really the only time of year I ever eat turkey. And (da da DAHHH) stuffing!!!! Ohhhhh, how I love my Grandma Beutel's stuffing. That stuff is out of this world. It kinda looks like someone threw up in a 9x13 pan, but fills my mouth with some of the most pleasurable tasteations ever imagined (I made up that word by the way). My Aunt Elaine makes a pretty good stuffing too. So really, my mouth is happy no matter which family it's with.
This year I'll be in Seattle with Nate's family. I've never been farther west than Colorado, so I'm pretty excited about it. Coffeehouses on every corner and lots of Nirvana-ish alternative music. I think I can handle it. I also hear there's mountains to hike, and a possible trip to Canada in the works. I'm crossing my fingers about the stuffing.

Being the domestic that you have become (chili, apple pie, etc...), I would expect you to carry on the tradition of great stuffing at Nate's family Thanksgiving. Perhaps its the turkey brain that Grandma throws in the stuffing that gives it that GREAT taste... We'll miss you Stephie, but I am hoping to see you December 10th or 11th!
:)
