70 days!

It is (approximately) 70 days until I become hitched for life. Crazy, huh?!

Life has been a rush for the past few weeks. I am still working too many hours, cranking out partnership returns for a large real estate client. It was quite humorous when I found out that my interior designer roommate is decorating one of the hotels that I did a tax return for : )

In happy news, Nate is moved into his house! His parents crammed all of his and some of my earthly belongings into a Suburban, and the three of them left Chicago. It was a busy weekend. This past weekend Nate and I went furniture shopping and bought a sofa, loveseat, and coffee table. It's great! The living room looks like a cross between modern times and the 70's. : ) I love it. We also got Nate what he has been waiting six years for (according to him). A very lovely Tempur Pedic "Celebrity" mattress. We got a floor model that had been in use for about six months for half off!! Considering that full price was over $3,000, we got a good deal. I am still trying to justify the purchase, but I'm told that you lay on your mattress for most of the day, so you should definitely have a good one!

I am trying to wedding plan, but it has been so hard with busy season and the move. We did get our wedding favors in the mail. For those of you thinking about not coming, these favors are out of this world. Definitely worth a trip to the country!

Last night was another night of planning. Nate and I got our free airplane ticket vouchers, so we purchased our honeymoon tickets to Puerto Rico!!! We also reserved our free hotel stays there. I am very thankful Nate was an auditor long enough to get all of those hotel points. I have been looking online at Puerto Rico tourist sites (www.gotopuertorico.com) and I'm getting really excited!!! White beaches and so much cultural stuff to explore. And plenty of opportunity for Nate to practice his Spanish and me to say "hola!".
