I am in Atlanta for a workshop related to some tax software I work with at Deloitte. Last night I got to the airport at approximately 5:45, and did not leave DCA until 9:15... ohhh delays! Happy news though, that ultra long delay and the two hour flight allowed me to finish my Harry Potter book! It was really good. Now frenzied Harry Potter fans such as myself will most likely have to wait another TWO years until the final installment of the series comes out. In the meantime I think they plan to release a movie of Book #4. Yay!
I think tonight we "workshopees" are going to a seafood place. Honestly I can't wait to go to bed. They have really nice beds in my Westin hotel room. I have two double beds all to myself. I took the one closest to the windows. Oh how I love the four pillows that feel like (at the least fake) down. AND, icy cold air breathing down from the vents at me.
Side note: Nate and I keep our house at 80 degrees while we are home, 79 while we sleep, and 83 while we are gone. I am not used to sleeping in 71 degrees.... it felt so nice. I could actually snuggle under the covers : )
Anyhow, I return Friday around 5. These are the times when I appreciate Deloitte. When I'm staying at nice hotels, getting three nice meals a day for free, and missing out on all the busy work that's going on at the office.
Oh yeah, and I got to eat Chick-Fil-A for the first time. I had a piece of fried chicken between a muffin for breakfast. That's right people, I am in the South!
