New Sport

I think I really am starting to like frisbee as a sport. Nate has been slowly dragging me into playing it with him on a regular basis. Last night I got off work early (yay!) and after dinner we (Nate and I) took to a nearby park. We started throwing the frisbee back and forth. I am getting more accurate with my throws, and can throw them farther. I'm not terribly consistent, but I generally get it in the near vicinity of my target.

We then did drills (my idea, hee hee). We both would stand behind a line, one person threw the frisbee, the other would run out to catch it, run it back, and immediately start running out again for another throw... We each did three sets. It was tiring!! But kinda fun, like back running suicides in the high school gym for the basketball team. Except we were our own coaches, so we stopped when we wanted to : )

Our final exercise: a sprint from soccer goal post to goal post and back. I beat Nate! Well, he didn't know we were racing back, but he couldn't catch me after my head start : )

A shower never felt so good.
