Non Gushy Post

According to my brother my posts have become entirely gushy, so I will not mention my spouse's name at all for an entire entry.

Hmmm... what shall I talk about?

I am getting very excited about my parent's pending visit in October. My Mom and I found a cute bed and breakfast in the Shenandoah Valley. For $150 a night the husband and I are staying in this cute little colonial style room. My parents and little sis are staying in more of a "suite" type room with a living room, large bedroom, and small bedroom with a daybed for Kates. The proprietor apparently is very nice. She is making us special breakfasts, and appears to be ready to cater to our every whim. Nice. Service with a smile : )

I am just hoping that my Dad will keep on healing so that we can do some hiking in the Shenandoah Park . If not, in October I'm sure the trees in the mountains will be brilliant with color. I can't wait for sunset over the reds, yellows, and oranges. Mostly I can't wait to see my family again. I feel like it has been a long time. I guess I haven't seen Mom and Dad since the wedding. And Dad was pretty drugged up the whole time, so that's not like really seeing him!

I found out that my brother just started his CPA review!! Ha ha. Talking to him made me realize how happy I am to be done with that! I would have never made it through without my great friends (shown above). I miss them too.

Guess I should get back to work!
