Target

Nate and I went to Target yesterday. We went there to pick up some school supplies. Our church is doing a school supply day at the end of August. We're packing school bags with supplies on Aug 26th, and handing them out to about 400 of DC's less wealthy students on Aug 27th.

I had a great time picking out supplies. I got a little lunch box in the shape of a frog. Also a cool Champion school bag. It brought me back to the days of picking out my own school supplies. I always liked the colorful things, wanted the coolest stuff. However, there were three other kids in the family that needed supplies. Needless to say, I didn't always get the expensive supplies that I wanted. I survived.

But I decided that the little girl I was buying for yesterday would have the best. I think the folders I picked out were quite trendy. And the pencils were sparkly. Oooooh, the delight. I wonder if I will spoil my kids as much as I enjoyed spoiling my little unknown child?

Does a spoiled child always turn into a brat? Hmmm...
