I've been pondering why life is so beautiful to me. I am the most fortunate girl in the world because I have the most wonderful husband. He is so smart and handsome. His six pack is to die for.
AHEM.
If any of you were wondering, Nate got into my blog and typed that : )
Nate and I ate at this place called Bubba's BBQ this weekend. We had the most wonderful pulled pork sandwiches. Actually I've probably had better tasting pork sandwiches. But for me, this restaurant was magnified by its cheap price. My sandwich cost $4.95. Just a pork sandwich with chips. Plenty! AND, it didn't cost a fortune.
I am so tired of DC restaurants. Sometimes you get good food, but more likely than not you'll just get mediocre service and fare for $10.95 and up. Today Nate and I ate Indian food at this little place next to the Giant grocery store. It was good! I had a chicken dish made with a yogurt and spiced sauce. I also ate some naan bread and samosas. Quite tasty. But my dish cost $15.95. Ridiculous! I ate the exact same dish in Champaign/Urbana for $7.95!!!!
I think I am finally getting tired of my endless search for great food and (inevitably) a high price. It's dwindling the cash in my wallet, and all I usually end up with is a sore belly.
Bubba's, here I come.
