ohhhh dear

My dear brother is now engaged to one of my favorite people, Mary. This pictures shows them with their "engagement gifts" to each other. If you didn't know, Greg went to BU and Mary is now going to ISU. They are getting married over Thanksgiving weekend (yes, of this year, a month or so away!)

Exciting news: Nate passed the CPA!!! Yeah!!!! His final scores are:
FIN -86
AUD - 96
BEC - 92
REG - 91

For those non-CPA people, passing is a 75. My scores all ranged from 80-82. My husband is a genius!

In other news, last weekend we took a trip out to the Shenandoah Valley with some friends from church. It was really fun! We spent most of Saturday driving around to little wineries in the valley. At each winery we'd ask for directions to one of their favorites, and then head off! Fun times. We then went into the mountains and did a hike up to a 360 degree overlook. A little foggy, but still fun! We ended the evening with barbecued pork sandwiches and endless games of Rook. The next morning Nate and I cooked breakfast, then we did another hike up to a beautiful overlook. It was clear and cool on Sunday. I could have stayed up there for hours. I'm not sure what we're going to do this weekend to celebrate Nate passing the CPA. Any suggestions? ; )
