Nothing Much

Well, I haven't been up to much, so haven't really written much.

This weekend was our first weekend spent at home in somewhere around a month. So we did very, very little. Except on Sunday. Nate got the idea that we should finish painting our apartment. So, many hours later, our final room has been painted. We had to laugh this morning though. We did one corner late at night, and you could tell. Nate couldn't see what he was rolling, so some parts of the walls were still very white! I did a bit of repainting this morning but just sitting here typing I see more white spots. The OCD in me wants to paint them...

Well, my excitement for today, however, is going to be purchasing a plant. Nate and I decided to wait on buying a futon. In order to convince me of this, Nate promised that I could buy a new plant instead. Not just any plant. I want a nice BIG one for our living room. More of a small tree, actually. I'm gathering up the courage to go downstairs and buy it right now (the store is right across the street).

It looks so innocent and sweet, doesn't it? Yes, but the people there don't speak English. And I don't know German "plant" or "tree" words. But I do want to support local business...

Maybe I'll shower first.

Ah yes, that old intimidating language thing! It makes even the most simplest tasks daunting! Great description!
