We just had the most wonderful weekend (bike trip) in Austria. I think that my posterior has never been in so much pain, but it definitely was worth it. We packed light, carried everything in panniers or on our backs... camped... and toured some sweet sights along the way.
[Pics are in the Gallery, like usual].
I think I've decided that Nate and I are not beach people. We're definitely mountain, valley, and nature people. At first I resisted. No, I said, I like laying on the beach for hours, crispifying my skin.
Several trips later, I have to admit that I really prefer the woods over the beach. Except... tenting... tenting is, well, tolerable.
I can't help it! I'm used to a pop-up camper. This 'sleeping in a little flimsy tent' thing is a bit scary, and most of all, there is no toilet in a tent. My father's pop-up had a toilet!!!!!!!!!
My next goal is to enjoy tent camping. Maybe then I'll be the perfect match for my husband.

I think that sincerely wanting to be the perfect match for your husband is at least 51% of the battle in actually becoming the perfect match! I usually don't philosophize too much on your blog, but couldn't pass this one up. This would be a good topic for a discussion in a week or so on top of the mountain!
