Layout Change (a bit)

Just wanted to let you all know that I changed the layout of the "Links" located on the right hand side of my blog. I've put them into three groups. Mainly I did this so that I can show you the new, interesting blogs or websites I've been looking at.

My favorite blogs of late have been cooking blogs. I read a few more than the three I've added to my blog, but these are definitely my favorites. As I find more, I'll add them.

Last night we went to a place called the Block House. It basically was an American steak house. I got the Filet Mignon, "American" salad, garlic bread, and a baked potato. It was like taking a little bite into heaven, or home. Best of all, we got the New York Cheesecake for dessert and it really tasted like New York Cheesecake. You may not have known this but Germans make their cheesecake with a cheese called Quark. I really don't know how to describe it, except that the cheesecake tastes a lot different than American cheesecake made with copious amounts of cream cheese. I do enjoy both the German and American versions, but having grown up with the American, it is my preference. So, last night we (skeptically) ordered the NY Cheesecake and ended up being surprised and happy. It tasted fantastic, and even had raspberry sauce on the side. Could life be better?

To answer that question, why yes it can. Today it's sunny and beautiful so Nate and I are going to take a trek out around the town. Sun and Nate... even better than Steak and Nate.
