I'm Dreaming of a White Easter!

I couldn't have been more surprised this morning when I jumped (ha) out of bed and noticed that the ground was covered with a light sprinkling of snow. I sincerely doubt that Mary Magdalene found Jesus outside the tomb throwing snowballs, but I don't mind having the snow on Easter. It makes our first Easter in Germany just a bit more unique.

A few months ago I put the link to the Smitten Kitchen blog on my website because I love: a) looking at her beautiful food pictures, b) reading her funny writing style, and c) the food actually looks good. BUT, I had never cooked anything from the site.

Just yesterday I did. Her Pasta with Cauliflower, Walnuts, and Cheese was absolutely delicious. Even Nate liked it, and usually I have to pull him to the table when I cook vegetarian. You should try it.

[New Pictures of me cooking are located in My Photo Gallery.]

Dear Steph,
you are turning into quite a chef. Your old Mom doesn't turn out stuff that interesting. Good for you for trying new things and good for Nate for being willing to try it. Love, Mom
