Stubborn little baby.
We had our ultrasound this morning. We walked in, asked the doctor some questions, and then Nate told her that we DIDN'T want to know the gender of the baby. But, he said, if we can tell it ourselves just by looking we might ask her to confirm it. She smiled.
Then the exam started. After a few minutes our doctor started laughing. She said that the baby was in a very "strange" position. Apparently the baby was sitting with his/her back lined up just like my back (facing forward)... so just imagine the baby sitting on a chair, trying to "look out" the front of my stomach at the world passing by.
We finished the ultrasound. And then, just because I'm the curious sort, I asked the doctor if she could tell if it was a boy or girl. She laughed again and said, "Oh no, not in that position! I could hardly see some of the things I wanted to measure!"
So there you have it. The baby just doesn't want us to know. A surprise it will be come December.

Yeah! Way to go Josella, keep your Mommy and Daddy guessing! We love surprises! I got a kick out of imagining your baby just chillin watching the world go by!

That's hilarious! Obviously your baby is quite the trickster. Surprises are so much fun! :)

Sniff, sniff....your baby didn't listen to my "yes" vote. Oh well, after I voted I changed my mind and decided that the first one is probably the best one to be surprised on...especially when you are only 10 weeks out and they couldn't tell the first time! We will be waiting with much anticipation...you can call us in the middle of the night!

I have to agree with Greg...as fun as it was knowing that our little Max was a boy, I'm thinking the second time around it will be much harder to not know, simply because if it's a girl it'd be fun to buy some girl stuff. Oh, well. Live and learn. :) And I echo his last line...call us whenever! :D
Well the world already knows I voted yes like 8 times! And I wasn't very pleased with this baby... it was probably sitting there with a Nate look on it's face saying "hahah suckers!"
