Well, I've been having cramps in my back and pelvic region since yesterday... But still... here I am!
At the midwife today she told me that my amniotic fluid was back up to more acceptable levels than Monday's levels. During the exam Josella was moving around a lot, heart rate about 145-150bpm, which made the midwife very happy. She said that everything is progressing quite nicely for perhaps a Friday or weekend delivery. I get the feeling that she just keeps telling me two or three days after today's date at every appointment, possibly just to keep me relaxed?! She did mention that if she could really tell me when the baby was going to come, she would quit being a midwife and become a fortune teller instead. Point taken!
I have been trying to stay somewhat occupied, just to keep my mind off everything. I cleaned the bathroom today, cleaned up the kitchen (well, that was inspired as I dropped my tea cup and spilled a half liter of tea all over the table, chairs, floor), and made a batch of Snickerdoodle dough. It's in the fridge chilling right now.
I probably should stop making and eating sweets, as the farther past the due date I get, the heavier the baby is getting. Maybe I'll just let Nate eat most of the cookies. He'd like that.
Or maybe not. : )

You'll have to let me know how they turned out. I may want to steal your mom's famous recipe! :)
We are still waiting to hear also. One thing I will tell you, when Josella is ready she will come. My guess is it is a little girl and she just wants to primp a little more. You know girls or are learning to know girls, grandpa says girls change their mind. Rest assured she will come.
Our love and prayers G. grandpa and G. grandma barbara
