Tired

I think the blog entries are going to be short and sweet until Elena decides to start sleeping. I had no idea that newborns actually don't appear to like sleeping! I had heard that all they do is eat, sleep, poop... but Elena eats, poops, cries, and sleeps on occasion. Nate went back to work today on probably 3 hours of sleep. Thankfully Katy and Mom are here today, so I'm going to try and get a nap in.

There have been some positive things though. We gave her the first bath on Saturday. After an initial shock, she actually gave us a huge smile and appeared to be enjoying herself. We also took her out for her first restaurant meal. We all went to our favorite Italian restaurant, and thankfully Elena slept the entire time. It was also my first real outing, which was thrilling for me. Fresh air!!!!
