My Momma left us today. She is on a plane, flying back to the States as I write this message.
We are going to miss her terribly. She was such a calming presence, helping out with the baby, the dishes, the cooking, and just sitting and talking when talking was all that was needed. I've already cried like a baby several times since she left. I'm going to blame it on post-natal hormones.

I cried and cried too. I even cried when my Mom hadn’t left yet. Definitely a hormone thing and an overwhelming sense of responsibility and loss of independence. (That was what I was blaming it on anyway)
She is so cute and that outfit does make her look long!!
