The Ramfam and Beutel clan got together this weekend. We did a whole lot of sitting around, eating, and (of course) boating. Nate and I got the benefit of having two Grandmas in the same house. Wheee! We went to a movie for the first time since having Elena, which was more than delightful. Three hours of doing nothing, worrying about nothing, relaxing, knowing that the Grandmas have it all under control. Sigh!
AND, I've been able to bake. Yippee! On Saturday night, about 9pm, I started baking chocolate chip cookies, and I've made black bottomed cup cakes today. Amanda's working on molasses spice cookies, and I think we're starting another batch of chocolate chip tonight (the ones I made are already consumed!). I love having another sugar-craving-nursing-mother around. Doesn't make me feel so guilty!
Anyhow, Mom, Dad, Katy, and She-bob headed back about four hours ago and I miss them already. Love you guys!
