Last Night
Last night Elena took about an hour to get to sleep. It was just she and I at home, so I sat by her crib, holding her hand, singing songs to her until she drifted off. After she fell asleep I started looking at old pictures of her. And I started getting teary eyed. She's just so BIG and pretty soon she'll be saying things like Mom, you're so boring or Mom, can you please not kiss me anymore in public?! And then, WHAT will I do?!!

I guess you will have to keep having kids so that you always have one young enough that they aren't embarassed of you! Ha,Ha!!!!!

That picture of Elena now is sooooo cute...i didn't know that she has both front teeth in...they make her look so much more grown up!

Oh, Steph, I hope little Elena is never embarassed of her Mother like someone else I know. You do have to grow thick skin because you know that kids can go through these phases. What is really neat is that someday, they think you are Ok again!! Love ya, Mom
