Mom is here

I suppose I could blame Mom for my lack of posting... she showed up on Monday and we've been going, going nonstop ever since! We've hit a Christmas Market almost every day until yesterday when we had Elena's Birthday Party one week early. We do have videos and pictures from the party, which I'll try to post up when we get back to Stuttgart and aren't so stinking tired!


We're heading to Ludwigsburg today to bake Christmas cookies with some of our German relatives. We'll be doing some American and some German cookies, which is always fun! Then we leave the next day for an overnight in the town of Baden-Baden. We'll be doing a bit of spa-ing and shopping before heading up to Wuestenrot to visit another round of family.


In the meantime, I leave you with this video of us at the Esslingen Medieval Christmas Market. Elena really wanted to ride on this Ferris wheel, but she was a little too small to go by herself, and I was a little too big to accompany her. Maybe next year?
