Merry Christmas (and a Happy New Year!)

My brother has informed me that I have become a 'bad blogger'. I was thinking about that last night and realized that he was probably right. When I look back at the posts that I used to write, they were more eloquent and certainly longer. But, in my defense, at least I do post. I have two sisters that have both started and stopped blogging at least twice. And come on Greg, your WIFE does most of your blogging!!!

But, my dear sister Sheila took Elena to the grocery store this morning, so I thought I would take the quiet time to write a blog post.

Christmas was a mixed bag this year. It was wonderful to be home with friends and family, but I was sick for a majority of the celebrations. I actually LOST weight over Christmas. That is somehow just wrong!!! And because of my incredibly sore throat, I didn't really get to have any good conversations with my dearly beloved cousins or aunts and uncles. However, it was still so nice just to be present. And to know that I'll be there for the next gathering too.


A very happy Christmas announcement was that Aaron and Amanda are expecting their second baby at the end of June. I believe that our #2 and their #2 will be even closer in age than Elena and Hannah are! The question is though, will the first Kent Ramquist Family boy be born, or will the first four grandchildren all be girls?!!! We shall see, we shall see.
