Road Trip!

Remember Sarah, the foreign exchange student (and third cousin!) from Germany that stayed with my parents last year? Well, somehow she persuaded her parents, sister, and Grandma to make a visit to the U.S. They toured New York, Boston, Niagra, and so on before meeting up with us in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a taste of some Southern Living! We saw bears, Oh my!

I have pictures over in My Photo Gallery that you can take a look at. I spent more time enjoying the company than taking photos, but I'm glad I got a few pictures to remember the wonderful time that we had.

We drove back from TN to IL on a Sunday, and spent the next few days showing the Miehle-Honecker family around our humble little towns. I was so sad to see them leave, but hope that they enjoyed Chicago (their final destination), and hope that they have a nice flight back to Germany. They should be boarding their flight to New York as I type this.


My Grandpa and Grandma threw a big party for my Dad's side of the family. The food was tasty, and the company even better.
