Blurry Vision

I'm not sure if I've referred yet to my eye doctor appointment in this blog. But either way, I have another appointment to see a retina specialist tomorrow morning. I have some maculopothy thing, and it's been driving me crazy. I hate it that I have to squint, or simply close my left eye to see better. It's hard to read fine print, and my eyes tire quickly. Truthfully, I'm a little frightened by this appointment, as having people near my eyes is one of my least favorite things. Eh, I just hate going to the doctor in general...

Happy thoughts. My boyfriend flew in and surprised me Friday night. Another great birthday present! Jeff and Abby took me out to dinner at Outback and got me a cute skirt and shirt outfit. But enough about my birthday right!

Saturday night Nate and I went to this great little Korean restaurant. It was almost just like being in Korea. We started out with Chap Chae for an appetizer, and of course bought a nice half carafe of red wine. Nate had galbi, which we got to grill at the table (fun!). I had dolsot bi bim bop. We sat, relaxed, ate slowly. I love it when you go to a restaurant and they don't badger you to leave. We probably were there for a couple of hours, and the waitresses only came by to fill our water glasses. The slow paced life is a good one.

I'm learning that, it's when life speeds up things become blurry.

I always knew you didn't see things straight...

The least you could have done for your boyfriend Nate is to cook him a home cooked meal! You know the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

You don't want to be an old spinster working in a cubicle thinking that if you learned to cook you would have a husband!
