Church

Nate and I have been discussing churches lately. Mostly because we're trying to find one out here to begin attending regularly. We've been going to this Evangelical Free Church, and it seems pretty cool. They have this little choir that I really think I'd like to join. I'm hoping the choir director would be open to gospel music! Hmmm....

My only problem with this church is the senior pastor. I really like him, he has great sermons, but they usually stretch on for a really long time, and at times he is rather repetitive. That's part of the reason that I didn't like the church I grew up in. I often felt like I wasn't learning anything new, or having any insight into the Bible expounded to me at church. Granted, this guy does speak on something different every Sunday (a different chapter or topic), but he just takes so long to prove a point that I start to lose interest sometimes.

I'm trying to decide if the problem is my attention span, or him. I'm guessing that it is me, and I think that because he preaches the truth, he's a solid guy. Nate likes him, and the people at the church are so friendly. I think it might be the place we stay : )

Anyhow, it's about time for my lunch with a partner... Oooooh, I'm so special. More later.

Steph,

Church is not suppose to be an Arrowsmith concert!

Obviously : ) I don't think Chuck Sauder can do the splits.
