Pain in the Neck

Well my neck has been hurting me a lot. My whole body appears to be falling apart actually. I'm going to try and call a doctor, get an appointment soon. I'd really like to be referred to a physical therapist, but we'll see...

So I haven't updated the blog in a bit. Let's see, what did I do this past weekend? Hmmm.... on Friday night I believe that I cooked manicotti. I think Nate and I played some frisbee too. But other than that, we didn't do much. Saturday I worked from 10-4. Joy! Then Nate and I went to the local rec center and went.... swimming! Yay! They have this great big lap pool, an attached kiddie pool, and a big hot tub. We swam laps for a while, sat in the hot tub, then swam some more laps. I beat Nate in every race we did! One sport that I am better at than my husband. I think there's a reason we don't swim very often : )

After showering (communal showers are the best!), we went over to a couple that we met a church's townhome for dinner. They made fajitas and homemade guacamole! Very good. We chatted around the table, then settled in their living room for conversation. It was a really nice night.

Sunday we went to church. I had my first gospel choir performance. We sang the song Glorious. It's an upbeat number. Ohhh was it ever fun. We got everyone on their feet clapping along and singing. It was awesome! After Sunday School we went to Chicken Out with a few people from our class. Then, amazingly enough, we took naps and relaxed!!!! Whoa!!!!! We never do that. I had gospel choir practice, then we had our class at church. Nate got groceries, I relaxed, and we ate a delicious frozen pizza.

This week hasn't been too bad. I got off work at 6pm the last two nights. Monday evening I made my very first roast. The night before I had rubbed the meat with salt and seasonings. Then it sat in the crock pot all day. It was so yummy! Last night I cut up the meat and made beef and noodles for supper. It made me so happy. It was just like eating food at home.

Well enough of my boring life I guess. I haven't anything too exciting to tell right now. Sorry!
