I spent the majority of today watching Bob give a presentation at the World Bank. Afterwards, the lady in charge of the presentations took us across to the main building and treated us to the "ritzy cafeteria". I had various salads, thai pasta, fish and rice, strawberry shortcake, and some carrot cake. Yum! We had great discussion about things going on around the world, the way DC has changed through the years, and of course... taxes : ) Then I drove back to the office, of which I will be at for about an hour and a half before I go home. Oh, and we each had little cups of sherry to drink while we dined. Sigh, what a rough day ; )

My New Job is Cool

I hope the sherry tasted better than that Plum wine Grandpa Wagenbach had from Germany a few years ago!

the new job is supposed to entail work - not eating high on the hog! better get some sweating going.... or they may get tired of your services!
