Entry

More protests = an entry. So this might be short and feeble, as I'm quite busy... but give me a break, it is tax season :)

Did you all have a great valentine's day?! I did! Nate cooked me a fabulous dinner. We had cheddar-beer fondue for the main course, of which we dipped in some yummy bread. For dessert we made chocolate fondue and dipped strawberries, raspberries, and bananas... ohhhh, my stomach is smiling remembering the great flava! I got Nate some steak sauce from this ritzy steak place (they sell it at Williams Sonoma, yeah!), and this peach stuff to go in drinks. We had a bottle of Riesling with our meal, of which we added the peach stuff. It was so good, especially for being a $6.24 bottle of Riesling from Giant's clearance shelf.

So tax season has started with a fury. Well, compared to Deloitte it hasn't been so bad, but I'm still working later than before (usually leaving around 7:30-8:00). Really, it isn't the hours that are bad, but the added stress. I have clients calling, e-mailing me all the time, and we keep getting reminded that we need to get out the "units"!!!!

Today my side of the office is quiet, Bob and Sharif are both downtown DC. So I'm hoping I can get a lot of work done. As you can see, instead of working I'm writing a blog entry, so maybe my productivity is not so hot today.

Oh, I went skiing again, last Sunday when it was so snowy that they cancelled church. There were masses of people at the resort, MASSES!!!!! I went down one hill, got scared, and sat in the lodge for most of the rest of the day. People were getting hit left and right!! There was no where to turn!!!! No where to stop!!!! Ohhhhhh, was it terrifying!!! I think I told Nate that I would never ski again. Somehow I think I that might be a lie, but it felt nice rolling off my tongue!
