Today I am going to a funeral for my Grandma's cousin's husband. He died of cancer last week.
If you remember her, Esther came to visit the U.S. with our other cousin, Rose several years back. My family visited Esther & Heinrich's house while in Germany about seven years ago, and I got to see them again when I went cherry-picking with Peter and Bettina.
I didn't know him well, but he seemed to be a very nice man. I know he will be missed.
