We celebrated finishing up week 38 by going out to the Esslingen Christmas and Medieval Market. I was there last year, but it was Nate's first time. We had a great time exploring the Christmas booths (anyone for new socks, candles, ornaments, or wooden toys?) and then the medieval market (leather goods, medieval costumes, and pottery, oh my!). Nate even tried his hand at throwing axes. He didn't get a bullseye, but he's always a winner in my eyes! :)
Today we're going to head out to OBI (yes, the hardware store) to get our Christmas tree. At my midwife appointment yesterday the midwife said that the baby is in the pelvis, so who knows when we might have a little surprise. I'd love to bring the baby home to an apartment smelling of pine.
