Video Girl

I have to agree with Mary (see Greg & Mary's blog). Life has been boring, normal, snowy, blah, blah, blah... We haven't taken many pictures, or really done much of anything, so I haven't had much inspiration to blog. And Elena started taking one nap a day. This means that I have exactly one to one and a half hours to clean, do errands, and relax a bit, before my little darling wakes up and demands all my attention. Somehow, the blog has fallen low on my 'to do' list. Sorry.

I do have one interesting thing to report. Last week, I joined a soccer club. Yes, me. Clumsy me. A friend of mine was telling me how much she enjoys playing and I thought hey, why not? I hate working out alone; therefore, I just don't work out. And have I ever mentioned how expensive it is to be part of a gym here? I pay 100 euros a year to be a part of this "team", and other than the cost of the soccer shoes, that's truely all there is... Almost as good as running, and don't even get me going on how AWFUL running is!

I spent last week scarcely being able to walk, and I have to admit that I'm dreading Friday's practice a bit. But hey, the girls are nice, the exercise is good, and for some reason Nate thinks I look "cute" when I come home covered in sweat. And to think, some girls have to wear nice clothes and put on make-up.
