July, 2014

July means sprinklers

and water guns, oh my!!!

World Cup fun with two German friends!

And a 4th of July trip up to Madison.

These girls love their Oma so very much!

This year was the first the girls got to swim alone in the lake.  They loved it!

Nate took Anni tubing for the first time.  She wasn't a fan!

Elena and Hannah, on the other hand, had a blast!

Tubing wore her out!!!

My sister in law, Sara, and I love to exercise together.  And take pictures of our self afterwards.  Sweaty and all!

Family shot on the boat!

Sara and Macey!!!!  I miss that dog (oh, and Sara!)

Out on the boat to watch fireworks!

Oh, dear.

We went to the local pool to entertain ourselves one hot July day.

the girls just loved being able to spend time with their Auntie Sara.

Mem and I lookin' fine.

The girls decided to take a trip to go to a Hanna Andersson outlet store.  Yes, we drove 4-5 hours just to go to one store.  But....

the store happened to be in a town that had a beach.  So we did that too!

So much fun!

Most of the girls loved the water!

Chillin'

Anni thinking deep thoughts.

Elena practicing her modeling.

Joy!

The two cousins cuddling on the couch.

And... back to Madison for a couple more days before returning home.  The girls getting a little love from their Uncle Davie.

And the World Cup final game.  It was a nail biter.

But Germany pulled it off!!!!!

World Cup champs!!!!!!!!

I was so excited that I bought Zoey her own Germany dog tag.

Sleepy baby.

Dressing up for a date with my hot hubby!

We attended a Spanish class and the girls got their faces painted.

Love my little ladies.

And they loved the class.  Miss Denise is awesome!

Fun in the park with Afton.

Random ice cream trip with Gma, Gpa, and Auntie Sheila.

And... Nate had a business trip up in the suburbs.  So the girls and I decided to join him.

We spent the day at Woodfield mall.

Which was surprisingly fun!  Who knew my girls would be such great shoppers?!

We then joined my dear friend from college, Aimee, to eat Korean food.

Elena loved the mandoo (little dumplings)

So good to see her again.

And to finally get a chance for our kids to meet!

We spent a day at Brookfield zoo as well.

Our friend Elise got us in for free!!!  Wheeee!

She and her daughter Elowyn visited the zoo with us.

Elowyn calls my girls Anna and Elsa.  Ha!

We miss them!  What a fun trip to Chicago!

Grandpa getting a little kiss from Lincoln!

July brought more swimming lessons for Elena.

And..... her first jump off of a diving board!  I was so proud of her!!!

Nora came to watch one day and cheer on her cousin.

Oh, and Mary and Griffy too!

Because we have a zoo membership we can go whenever we please.

So we tend to go at least once a month.  Why not?!

Adorable.

Cool treats, hot summer!

This time our friend Liam came with us.

Lovin' our lazy summer!
